Though Tennessee is known for its whiskey, its craft brewing industry is gaining traction and poised for continued growth. The Tennessee Craft Brewers Guild, founded in 2012, launched the Tennessee Ale Trail on Jan. 23, with participation from over 60 breweries across the state. 'We specifically designed the trail with both residents and tourists in mind. We really want Tennesseans to be proud of Tennessee beer,' Sharon Cheek, executive director of the Tennessee Craft Brewers Guild, told the Business Journal.
