Texas coach Vic Schaefer was seated a few rows behind the scorer's table to watch the biggest game of Madison Booker's high school career. The Texas signee needed a dominant performance in the MHSAA Class 6A semifinals against Harrison Central to complete her narrative arc with Germantown and help the Mavericks avenge last season's trip to the final four. Germantown defeated Harrison Central 46-35 on Wednesday. It came a year after the Red Rebels embarrassed Germantown with a 19-point victory in the semifinals last March.
