Memphis-Shelby County Schools would lose three Germantown-area schools in a transfer and sale agreement that would also pay for a new district high school, but only if county commissioners agree to funding terms in a vote next week. The written agreement was made public for the first time Friday, and terminates if the commission doesn't authorize $77.5 million in capital funds by voting to approve the agreement on or about Dec. 14. Some commissioners have criticized the process that created the agreement.
